Unarmed Officers
Unarmed uniformed officers (Level I) are certified to facilitate protection when there is a low to moderate risk level. Unarmed officers will utilize communication, physical presence, high visibility, observation and reporting to deter crime.
Officers can be positioned as ingress-egress control, loss prevention agents, event control, front desk security, and information guides.

ARMED UNIFORMED OFFICERS
Armed Officers (Level II)
Armed uniformed officers (Level II) are certified to facilitate protection when there is a moderate to high risk level. Level II officers are NOT licensed/permitted to carry an exposed firearm.
However, Level II officers are licensed/permitted by the BSIS & DOJ to carry equipment such as a Baton, Conducted Energy Weapon (CEW), and/or Pepper Spray.

ARMED UNIFORMED OFFICERS
Armed Officers (Level III)
Armed uniformed officers (Level III) are certified to facilitate protection when there is a moderate to high risk level. Level III officers are licensed/ permitted to carry an exposed firearm and other equipment such as a baton, conducted energy weapon, and/or pepper spray.
ARMED NON-UNIFORMED OFFICERS
Armed Officers (Level III-A)
Armed non-uniformed officers (Level III-A) are certified to facilitate protection when there is a high moderate to high risk level. Armed officers in plain clothes can include off -duty officers (ODO), retired law enforcement (RLEO), officers with specialized military training and/or certification in covert protection, security driver, and Executive Protection. Level IIIA officers are licensed to carry concealed weapon (CCW).
